I'm Emily of "Chirpings from a Little Sparrow". 

I'm 23 years old.

my whole world. ballet saved my life.

This is my sweet friend Lisa
She gave me the nickname "Little Sparrow" && she is my "Mamma Bird".

So where did the nickname come from?

Well, Lisa loves birds. And because of her, so do I! I never noticed birds so much before Lisa and I met. And now, birds are one of my favorite parts of God's creation.

Especially sparrows.

They are such a sweet reminder of how valued we are by God. 

God brought Lisa into my life with a HUGE purpose in mind. And He is continuing to reveal that to us on a regular basis. 

We grow closer together and closer to God through each other's experiences.

Lisa started calling me her little sparrow because she saw God within me. It made me so happy because that's exactly what I want people to see when they look at me! 

And it's a constant reminder of my worth to God! Way too often, I don't feel any sense of worth at all. But every time I see a sparrow, I remember how precious God thinks I am. And I can't help but smile :))
